I wrote a book! (And you can, too)

The book is called (drum roll please)...

A Power of Your Own: How to Ignite Your Potential, Uncover Your Purpose, and Blaze Your Own Trail in Life & Business.

I started writing the book last year, and there were many times when I felt like giving up—I worried that the book would suck, that no one would buy it, or that I'd get trolled mercilessly in the reviews on Amazon.

It's funny how we do that to ourselves whenever we're pursuing something that's important to us, don't you think?

The more I think about it, the more I think we should consider the appearance of our Inner Critic as a sign that we're about to do something amazing!

These days, I've learned that the negative stories we tell ourselves about ourselves don't originate from inside of us, but instead come from a world in which so many of us are told that we aren't enough, or that we don't measure up.

It's for that exact reason that I wrote this book.

It's my own small act of resistance—and if this book can spark something in you that inspires you to reach for your dreams too, then let's just say I've done my job.

In the book, I talk about how so many of us settle for less than our dreams when we have so much more to give—especially if society has historically underestimated or excluded us—and how we can step bravely into a brighter future, knowing that we have the power to impact the world around us.
